  • Bring in your first draft of "Where I'm From" for peer editing today. Select details from Friday's brainstorming to craft your own "Where I'm From." Borrow freely from the template if you like, but experiment with the form to find a way to express yourself in a voice that feels natural to you. Lyons's template is simply a starting point...
  • Check the rubric your class devised for suggestions on crafting an effective poem:
